Asian Tofu Salad Recipe. A very easy and tasty tofu salad recipe. Asian Tofu Salad has a very high in protein, very fresh and healthy. This salad is made of crisp tofu, bean sprouts, capsicum, onions, cabbage, coriander and peanuts. With fresh lime juice, sweet chilli, soy sauce, sesame and peanut oil, minced garlic and ginger that gives this dressing a great combination of flavours.

Asian Tofu Salad Ingredients: |
- 1 large red capsicum
- 1 large green capsicum
- 2 cups bean sprouts
- 4 spring onions, sliced diagonally
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander
- 3 cups Chinese cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
- 450g firm tofu
- 1/4 cup peanut oil
Dressing:
- 2 tbsp. sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp. lime juice
- 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp. light soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 3 tsp. fresh ginger, finely grated
- 1/4 cup peanut oil
Cooking Instructions: |
- Thinly slice the capsicums, and combine with the bean sprouts, spring onion, coriander, cabbage and peanuts.
- Drain the liquid from the tofu and cut into 8×2 cm wide slices.
- Heat the oil in a large, heavy-based frying pan. Cook the tofu for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until it is golden with a crispy edge, and add to the salad.
- For the dressing, mix together the chili sauce, lime juice, oil, soy sauce, garlic and ginger.
- Whisk in the peanut oil, then toss through the salad and serve immediately.
